Gift of Life has partnered with Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York as its primary collection facility. The Birthing Center at Maimonides delivers nearly 7,000 babies per year, more than any other hospital in the state of New York. In recognition of their outstanding dedication to our lifesaving cause, Maimonides was the recipient of our highest honor, the Partners for Life Award, at our 2005 Gala.

 

Mothers who wish to donate their baby's cord blood to Gift of Life should speak with their obstetricians or midwives to determine if they are members of Gift of Life's collection network, or call 561.982.2900 and ask to speak with a member of the Cord Blood Program staff. Affiliated collectors must be trained by Gift of Life and sign collector participation agreements.

 

Gift of Life has partnered with the very well known and respected practice Boro Park OBGYN in Brooklyn, New York, where all of its obstetricians and midwives are trained and part of the Gift of Life collector network. Gift of Life is honored to be affiliated with the talented and special team at Boro Park OBGYN. In recognition of their outstanding committment to our lifesaving cause, Boro Park OBGYN was the recipient of Gift of Life's highest honor, the Partners for Life Award, at our 2005 Gala.

 

Collectors who are not yet affiliated with Gift of Life should contact the Cord Blood Program Manager at 561.982.2900. Please note that currently Gift of Life's collector network is restricted to collectors who deliver babies at Maimonides Medical Center.
