To make a donation in Alan's memory, please click here.

After a battle with leukemia, it is with profound sadness that we report the passing of Alan Cohen. Alan's friends, family, and complete strangers from all over the globe came to his rescue by joining the registry as possible donors.

Unfortunately, no match was found. Words are inadequate to express our sympathies to Alan's loved ones. His memory will live on through the fond memories of his friends and family, and the lives that will be saved as a result of the thousands of people tested on his behalf. Matches have already been found for other patients in need.

Hi Great post and the fond memories of his friends and family, and the lives that will be saved as a result of the thousands of people tested. http://www.cyberdesignz.com/

How sad. My sincere condolences to Alan's wife and daughters. It was the story of Alan's search for a donor in the Wall St. Journal that prompted me to register with GifftofLife.org. Hopefully some lives will be saved someday by the people like me who joined to try to help him.
