Ready to be a Super Hero?
It's an awesome feeling to know that you have the power to save a life. Thankfully, you won't need to leap tall buildings in a single bound to be a super hero. You'll need a cheek swab, a kind and compassionate personality, and dedication to be someone's hero when you receive the call.
One in 100 donors will receive a phone call that they are a possible match for a patient in need, and asked if they will proceed to the next level --- confirmatory typing. Then, 1 in 10 of those who proceed will be called to donate. So, we want to ensure that our donors are not only engaged and motivated to save a life --- they must be well informed and educated about the process.
